Vision: To organize people for their social, economic and cultural upliftment with special focuses on promotion of health, education, environment and community development.

Mission: To organize planned Initiatives for extending welfare and development services to enable people for adoption of better health, education, environment, livelihood and community development for a peaceful and progressive life-style and total empowerment.

Objectives: Major objectives of Maa Usha Charitable Trust (MUCT) along with latest inclusion of amended objects are as follows:

  1. To organize initiatives for spreading both formal and informal education among the children, youths for learning, acquiring, advancing their studies including their career building options.
  2. To extend all possible support services for the promotion of education through distribution of educational kits, books, and financial assistance to needy poor and deserving students for their better and advance education.
  3. To introduce libraries, laboratory, reading rooms, common rooms, teacher’s rooms, schools, coaching centres, hostels for extending infrastructure and support services for the needy poor students belongs to remote rural areas to ensure their better learnings for advanced education inclusive of other basic objects of general public utility.
  4. To organize scientific and legal awareness programs for the children, youths, men and women and for the differently abled persons to stand against atrocities, torture, dowry, gender issues and any exploitations.
  5. To organize awareness and health check-up camps on common and critical diseases namely: (i) Cardiovascular disorder, (ii) Diabetes mellitus, (iii) Aneamia, (iv) Thyroid disorder, (v) Tuberculosis, (vi) Viral Hepatitis etc.
  6. To organize blood donation, eye camps and also provides modern and scientific medical services inclusive of ambulance services and other related medical services for improving health status of common people.
  7. To promote modern and scientific medical services by introducing and running free clinical laboratories, dispensaries and establish hospitals, nursing homes and other such institutions of similar nature providing medical treatment to the poor backward communities.
  8. To promote clean, green and pollution free environment by organizing awareness generation camps on environment and by planting trees involving common people to consider environment as an alternative means or source of income for the rural people.
  9. To introduce skills trainings or vocational trainings to enabled interested persons with special consideration of women to assist them to find out suitable means for earning for sustainable livelihoods.
  10. To create opportunities both for formal and informal sector employment by organizing demonstrating and imparting advanced skill trainings on feasible trades directly or in collaboration with various specialized institutions and department, ministries and agencies.
  11. To organize interested people in groups for introduction of advance skill trainings on agriculture, mushroom, horticulture, sericulture, handloom, handicrafts, food processing, tribal textiles to promote community based livelihood development among the interested poor resides in rural areas.
  12. To provide relief and support services to the needy poor children/students for acquiring, advancing their studies and any other objects of general public utility.
  13. To providing support, services and financial assistances to physically challenged or disabled persons, children, women and aged persons directly or through other have better service options of such support services.
  14. To publish posters, journals, magazines and books for the betterment of the future generation and for the society.

  16. To provide expert resources that bridge scientific knowledge with local needs in the strategic area of research, technology transfer, policy formulations and information services for promotion of entrepreneurship development.
  17. To promote cultural education, to establish, run cultural development centres, promote cultural academies and to conduct cultural events, competitions for preservation.
  18. To raise resources for implementation of developmental activities and supporting the development for the upliftment of the needy poor people of its operational areas.
  19. To acquire purchase or lease or otherwise, lands and building and other properties movable or immovable as the trust from time to time may think fit for extension of its developmental activities.
  20. The trust will not carry out any activities with the intention of earning profit and will extend its support and assistances with service motive only.
  21. To develop and strengthen networks of agencies working in the field education, scientific research, socio-economic development to ensure better livelihood options for peaceful and progressive living.
  22. To assist and cooperate with government departments/ministries, non-government organizations/agencies and sponsoring agencies in all matters are pertaining to promotion and development of education, health, environment, livelihood and other related activities.
  23. To do such other things as may be conducive or incidents to the attainment of all or any of the above objectives.
